Congratulations to the Finalists in The Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards for 2022, listed below! You do incredibly valuable work. We want to thank you for it, and celebrate it with you.

The range of finalists below provides a powerful answer to why we created the MAIAs:
- from university-developed courses to YouTube cartoons made by a teenager;
- from ground-breaking academic research to a global anti-scam initiative;
- from the latest apps to a good old-fashioned, real-world museum.
These truly valuable projects also scan the globe, from Peru to Malaysia, from Finland to Ghana. The finalists alone come from more than 15 different countries – and many operate globally.
Our amazing panel of 11 judges have diligently read through all their respective entries, scoring and commenting on every answer, to arrive at this selection. Thank you so much to all of them.
In addition, we have closed our two “public vote” categories, Best Book and Best Influencer and selected the top five of each as finalists. Thank you to everyone who voted for their favourite.
At the end of this month, after a little more reviewing and discussion, we will announce the winners, the runners-up and highly commended entries, That will be via a live stream award show on LinkedIn on May 31: follow our social media links or subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you get the latest details and invite your followers with plenty of time for them to attend and celebrate with you.
To all of you whose entries didn’t make this finalist selection, thank you so much for the work you do, and for entering. We are truly grateful for all of it, and we hope you will consider entering again in 2023.
Here, in the order they entered, are the 40 Finalists from which our 2022 Winners will be chosen.

About the Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards
Conceived to ‘Make Money Better’, the MAIAs is a new entity focused on raising awareness of the many problems poor financial literacy causes, while also finding the best solutions from all over the world – and shining a light on them via a high-profile awards system judged by leading academics, NGOs, journalists, influencers, and asset managers.
The MAIAs are truly grateful for the support of their 2022 sponsors: Lanturn, a boutique fintech firm specialising in corporate and fund services; Endowus, a Singapore-headquartered digital wealth platform; Bitmex Academy, a multimedia crypto education platform, The Fry Group, an international tax and financial advisory organisation and Albizia Capital, a boutique fund manager.
The MAIAs will be held for the first time in 2022, and you can be part of this ground-breaking event. Entries will open in January, and members of the judging panel will be announced very soon. Whether you want to enter an award, nominate someone else, find out more, spread the word or become a sponsor, we can’t wait to hear from you. And remember, entering the awards will be free! Stay tuned!
