50 MAIA Money Changers

Money is changing.

It is becoming more important. It is getting more complicated.

The financial system is also reaching more and more people, which should be positive, but too often it is reaching them in ways they don’t understand. This leads to confusion, to debt, to scams and inequality.

This has to change. We need “Money Changers”.

At the Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards, we track the money changes happening all over the world. they could be in schools, in government, in (social) media, in academia: we like knowing who is making the most difference in their arena.

And so we decided that at the end of such a tumultuous year, and before we open the maiawards.org website for submissions to the 2025 MAIAs, it would be an ideal time to compile a list of “MAIA Money Changers”. They may be past MAIA winners, but they may also never have heard of the MAIAs (you never know!), but these are the people we want to thank, who we want to acknowledge and promote for making the most positive difference to money this year.

These are the ‘MAIA Money Changers’
